Hue University female staff with activities of science and technology upon statistical data (12-03-2021 08:04)

Female staff in general and female scientists play a key role in the development of Hue University. On the anniversary of the International Women’s Day (8/3), some statistical data of science and technology relating to female scientists of Hue University is revealed as follows:

 

About scientists: 

- Female ratio among Hue University scientists with Doctor’s degree (calculated upon the number of current female scientists till December 2020): 38.1%  

- Female ratio among Hue University scientists with Doctor’s degree (including the retired who are still teaching till December 2020): 35,7%

- Female ratio among Hue University professors and associate professors (calculated upon the number of current female professors and associate professors till December 2020): 20,6%    

 - Female ratio among Hue University professors and associate professors (including the retired who are still teaching till December 2020): 22,1%

 

 

About the leadership in scientific research: 

- Female ratio among principal investigators of science and technology at ministerial level in the period of 2016-2020: 27,7%

- Female ratio among principal investigators of science and technology at Hue University level in the period of 2016-2020: 42,2%

- Female ratio among approved principal investigators of NAFOSTED in the period of 2015-2020: 30,5%

- Female ratio among recognized Hue University strong research team leaders: 22,9%

 

About achievements of science and technology:

- Ratio of rewarded prestigious international articles written by females as the first author in the year 2020 at ministerial level and Hue University level: 34,4%

- Ratio of female scientists ranked in the top 100 Hue University scientists having high number of citations in accordance with Google Scholar (till February 2021): 30%

- 02 Hue University female scientists received honorable prizes for women in science:

* Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Bich Lan, Kovalevskaia 2017.

* Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoai, The L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards in 2017.
