From February 27, 2021 to March 12, 2021, Hospital of University Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University took samples and tested with Real-time RT-PCR assays for SAR-CoV-2 detection for 3,521 students from member universities and schools of Hue University at the School of Physical Education, Hue University. In addition, 141 students with epidemiological risk factors were tested jointly by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of Thua Thien Hue province and Hue City Hospital.
