Leaders of Hue University and Thai Nguyen University offer incense to show the gratefulness to martyrs in the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (03-08-2020 15:41)

On July 24, 2020, leaders of Hue University and Thai Nguyen University offered incenses to show gratefulness to martyrs at Truong Son National Martyr Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyr Cemetery and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel. The delegation includes Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh, Hue University President, Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Quang, Thai Nguyen University President with Thai Nguyen University delegation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Ba, Chairman of Hue University Veteran Association, veterans in the association, invalids and martyrs’ children working at Hue University. 

 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh, Hue University President and Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Quang, Thai Nguyen University President led the delegation and offered incenses to show gratefulness to martyrs and invalids in the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day

 

On the last days of July 2020, in celebrating in the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (27/7/1947-27/7/2020), leaders of Hue University and Thai Nguyen University following the tradition “when drinking water, remember its source" When you eat a fruit, think of the man who planted the tree” respectfully offered flowers and incenses to commemorate and show gratefulness to martyrs who sacrificed for national liberation and defense at Truong Son National Martyr Cemetery and Road 9 National Martyr Cemetery where more than 20 thousand of soldiers were buried and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel witnessing the heroic spirits of soldiers and people to protect the national land.

 

The delegation placed the wreath of flowers and offered incenses at Truong Son National Martyr Cemetery where 10,263 soldiers fell down for national protection and independence.

 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh and Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Quang rang the bell to pray for martyrs who laid down their lives in the defense of the nation.

The delegation offered incenses at Quang Tri Ancient Citadel where our heroic soldiers and people struggled for the defense of national land.

In the morning of the same day, the delegation in collaboration with Huong Tra town Veteran Association presented gifts to invalids who are in difficult circumstances.
