Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Truong Luu, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments in the province. From Hue University, there were Mr. Bui Van Loi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of Hue University; leaders of Hue University Party Organizations; Mr. Phan Le Chung, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Council of the University of Arts; Mr. Do Xuan Phu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector, the University of Arts; and leaders, staff, students, and authors.

The exhibition displayed 81 paintings by 58 artists who were lecturers and students of the University of Arts, Hue University. The artworks honored President Ho Chi Minh and his great contribution to Vietnamese revolution, and praised the nature, people, and strengths of Thus Thien Hue Province.
