For the past years, Hue University and AUF (The Francophone University Agency) have maintained long-term cooperation. Specifically, in June 2020, Ms. Ouidad TEBBAA, Director of AUF Asia- Pacific region paid a visit to Hue University. In December 2020, the delegations of AUF and OIF, represented by Mr. Jean Marc LAVEST, the Director of the Francophone University Agency (AUF) and the Director of The International Organization of la Francophonie (OIF) participated in the Scholarship Award Ceremony by the Francophone University Agency (AUF) to Hue University’s students who were affected by the storms and floods in the central area. In November 2022, Mr. Laurent Sermet along with the AUF Asia-Pacific delegation also paid a courtesy visit to Hue University.

Over the past few years, AUF has supported Hue University in such typical projects as ECOBOOT 2019-2020; Blended Training Project, and Digital library BNEUF. Hue University has enthusiastically participated in all activities launched by AUF.

At the meeting, Ms. Marie-Nathalie LEBLANC, Vice Director of AUF Asia- Pacific region revealed some information on the upcoming activities and expected Hue University to go along with AUF as always. AUF aims to promote digital transformation in university governance, students’ employability, cooperation among universities, and support for teaching staff’s research and capacity building. Hue University hopes that the collaboration between Hue University and AUF will soon gain specific results in training, research, conference organization, and establishment of Francophone youth clubs.
