The signing ceremony between Hanoi Medical University, University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Hue University, University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh, and Harvard Medical School, U.S. in the witness of Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health, and the United State Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Marc E. Knapper

Key fields of cooperation are: (1) strengthening health system through educational innovation; (2) enhancing capacity for health workers to meet current and emerging needs; (3) building capacity for biomedical research. Besides cooperation in medical undergraduate training and accumulating necessary requirements for training program accreditation at regional and international standards, one of the key cooperation during the stage of 2022-2027 is the innovation in resident doctor training programs at institutions of medicine and health. This is a logical development following the first cohorts of the undergraduate medical program in Vietnam.
