Founded in 1966, Meiho University is a new private university in Taiwan. Meiho has three member colleges with 18 Bachelor training Departments and 3 Master Training Institutes. There are over 9000 students and 300 teaching staff. Meiho University places importance on cooperation with universities in Vietnam, especially in agricultural products research, social affairs and joint training.

The two universities entered into a cooperation agreement focusing mainly on lecturer and students exchange, joint research in the field of mutual interest and Master's joint training program.

Also at the meeting, Prof. Shanda Liu mentioned the possibility of granting 2 or 3 Master's scholarships for Hue University staff to study Business Management and Nursing at Meiho University in 2011.
