At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh – President of Hue University briefed the development of Hue University since its foundation and invited the Consul General to the 60th anniversary of Hue University (1957 - 2017) on 03.03.2017. The President introduced the current programs and collaborations between Hue University with US organizations and universities and expressed the interest that the US Consul General further promotes the cooperation between Hue University and US universities, colleges and institutions.

Ms. Mary Tarnowka thanked for the warm welcome of Hue University and congratulated the President of Hue University in the new position in the period 2016 - 2021. The US Consul General confirmed her commitment in strengthening the cooperation between Hue University with US universities and colleges in academic exchange, student mobility as a way to promote the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the United States.
