This year, Hue University College of Foreign languages received around 3000 students including high school students, official undergraduate and graduate students, 1200 unofficial training students and 820 new graduate students.  Specifically, there are 38 Chinese students from Ngo Chau University, Quang Chau Univesity enrolling in English Department for undergraduate level, 30 students from Que Chau Pedagogy University enrolling in Tourism and Chinese Character majors and 2 Thai and Korean students enrolling in English methodology at graduate level. 

During the past years, Hue University College of Foreign Languages has received the proposal of training according to the social needs for not only domestic provinces and cities, especially mountainous areas such as Dong Nai Province, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Yen Provice, Dak Lak Province, Kontum, Quang Ngai, Ha Tinh, but also overseas countries such as China, America and Japan.  Many joint-training education programs have been built including the Master program in Chinese language with Que Lam Pedagogy University of China, the Master program of TESOL in cooperation with Ha Noi National University of Foreign Languages, with universities in America, New Zealand, and Thailand and so on.

Foreign affairs and international cooperation are always the pioneering concerns of the college.  So far, there are 31 organizations and overseas universities setting relationships and cooperation with Hue University College of Foreign Languages.  The cooperation has resulted in many effective programs in joint education and student exchange.

The past four years, Hue University College of Foreign Languages has achieved remarkable results and stable development and confirmed its position, strength and prestige.  In academic year 2008-2009, Hue College of Foreign Languages takes on the priority on applying the credit education system for all levels.  Though difficulties are unavoidable, it is believed that Hue University College of Foreign Languages will overcome possible barriers and become a prestigious and high quality foreign language center.
