Chinese Speaking Contest in Central region

Within the framework of Chinese Cultural Week in Hue, on the morning of October 20, 2012, Hue University College of Foreign Languages, the Chinese language Committee and the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam co-hosted a Chinese speaking contest in Central region. Mr. Luu Tam Chan, Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, Dr. Truong Quy Tung, Hue University Vice President, and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Bình, Director of Thua Thien Hue Department of Foreign Affairs are representatives of the contest. 16 contestants took part in the final round in the cheer of more than 400 students from Hue, Quang Nam and Da Nang Universities. It was an opportunity for students to exchange culture and improve their foreign language capacity. Prior to this contest, on October 19, 2012, an exhibition of nearly 50 photos of Chinese landscape, country and people took place at Hue University, 3 Le Loi, Hue.
