Hue University and Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Indonesia found many things in common

On 28/8, Hue University Vice President Do Thi Xuan Dung welcomed and had a working meeting with the delegation from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. The delegation includes Dr. Endang Soelistiyowati, Head of Department of Language, Arts and Culture Management and Mr. Ghifari Yuristiadhi, Head of Cooperation, Alumni, Research and Community Engagement, Vocational Collge, Department of Language, Art and Culture Management.
The two sides had a very open discussion and found many things in common. Both universities are 2-level, public, long development history, multidisciplinary and among the largest institutions of higher learning in the two countries. At the end of the meeting, the two sides concluded the common areas of interests and initial potential cooperation activities.
UGM is located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and comprises of 18 faculties, 68 undergraduate study programs, 23 diploma study programs, 104 master and spesialist study program, and 43 Doctorate study programs. It currently has approximately 55,000 students, 1,187 foreign students and 2,500 faculty members. UGM has been considered to be one of the most prestigious universities in Indonesia.
