Hue University receives and works with Japan's Shizouka University delegation

On March 27, 2009, the Japan's Shizouka University delegation headed by Professor Ichiro Asari, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences Department paid a visit and worked with Hue University. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Thanh, Hue University Vice President together with representatives from the Directorial Boards of Technology and Science, and Post-graduate Training received the delegation.
Founded in 1949, Shizouka University has been known as one of the top ten public Japanese Universities with a staff of 1200 lecturers and 10.000 students. The Shizouka University's trip to Hue University aimed at studying the possibility of post graduate joint training with Hue University in the fields of mutual interest, especially in science and technology, education, economics, environment and so on.
Also, in this trip, Shizouka University delegation had particular working sessions with Hue University College of Sciences and College of Economics, which made a good start for the cooperative relationship between the two Universities of the two long-term friendly cities - Hue City and Shizouka City.
