Training workshop on “Self – directed learning training and materials development"

In the morning of June 22nd 2009, the workshop on "Self - directed learning training and materials development" was hold at the A1.01 Hall of Hue University, College of Medical and Pharmacy by the Project of University Education. The workshop is under the guidance of two experts Mr. Enriquito Lu and Mr. Galina Stolarsky from Johns Hopkins University of America. This activity belongs to the working frame of University Education Project 2. The opening ceremony received the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Hung, Vice- President of Hue University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Dang, Vice Rector of Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Viet Ngu, Director of Office for Education Quality Assurance and Education Project Coordination, and 35 lecturers from the Faculties of Internal medicine, External Medicine, Obstetrics, Paediatrics of Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy. The aim of the workshop is to train the Seft-Directed Learning methods in teaching and learning clinical skills for medical students. After that, the participants will create 01 set of SDL document for students of 4 faculties. The workshop lasts 5 days from June 22nd, 2009 to June 26th 2009.
