Hue University leaders offered flowers to congratulate the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University on its 55th Anniversary of Establishment

During 55 years of construction and development, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (previously known as the University of Agriculture II- Ha Bac established on August 14, 1967, in accordance with Decision 124/CP of the Government Council) has trained approximately 35,000 engineers, 2,790 masters and doctors.
The University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University has gained remarkable achievements such as the University of Agriculture is the first Member University of Hue University and the first University of Agriculture of the whole country to be issued the Certificate of Institutional Accreditation. In 2022, 6 bachelor’s programs of the university were accredited at the national level; hundreds of research projects at all levels and projects of international cooperation were implemented

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Anh Phuong, Hue University President is very proud that the University of Agriculture and Forestry is one of the member universities of Hue University. Through periods of development with difficulties and challenges, the University has affirmed its position as the leading institution of training, scientific research, and technology transfer to train and provide high-quality human resources, directly join in the work of hunger elimination and poverty reduction, build and develop agriculture and contribute to the socio-economic development of the provinces in the Central regions, Central highlands and all over the country.

In the coming period, Hue University President expects that the University will make its effort in becoming a center for scientific research and technology transfer in the national socio-economic development and continue to boost up university autonomy.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Thanh Binh congratulated the University on its results and expressed his gratitude for the devotion and enthusiastic and effective contribution of the University’s teaching staff, scientists, and students to the socio-economic development of Thua Thien Hue province.

On this occasion, the University of Agriculture and Forestry honorably received certificates of merit from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Resources and Environment.
