Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Anh Phuong, Hue University President delivered the opening speech at the conference

The conference was organized by Vietnam Association of Natural Products Sciences (VNPS); Vietnam Association of Theoretical and Computational Chemists (VATCC); University of Education, Hue University; and other education institutions such as University of Sciences, Hue University; Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Ho Chi Minh City; Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology; Hanoi University of Science and Technology; Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City; Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City; Quy Nhon University; Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment; the University of Education, the University of Danang; Danang University of Science and Technology; Duy Tan University, Da Nang; Institute of Natural Products Chemistry, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; Institute of Trospical Technology; Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; and Vina Link Group Company. It was a forum for scientists from educational institutions, research institutes and businesses to stimulate the sharing of experiences and scientific research cooperation.

The conference had 7 reports and addressed a wide variety of following issues as application of digitalization in improving the quality of scientific research; solutions to enhance the application of scientific research results to community problems; the scientific conference on "Digitalization in basic and applied research and chemical technology". Nearly 150 scientists, lecturers, high school chemistry teachers attended the conference.

The results of the workshop contributed to the application of digitalization to improve the quality of scientific research, provided technology transfer solutions, and applied scientific research results.
