According to 2022 Action Plan of the Association and the Third World Higher Education Conference organized by UNESCO in Barcelona, Spain from May 18 to 22, 2022, the Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges and Hue University held the national scientific conference on developing and improving the quality of higher education in the new context on October 7, 2022. The conference was a scientific forum for universities in the country to exchange experiences and provide practical solutions to improve the quality of higher education. 

The aim of the conference was to exchange knowledge, experiences on improving the quality of training, one of the important issues of the higher education of the country. Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son affirmed that the orientation of the educational development in Vietnam must increase the quantity as well as improve quality.

The book on Developing and improving the quality of higher education in a new context with 94 articles was published by Publishing House, Hue University. It was considered as a source of materials for research and implementation of training activities in universities and colleges in order to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive renovation of education and training.
