In the past few days, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, many experts from other countries have accelerated the production of assisted breathing machine. As the basic principle of the automated ambu bag machine is not too complicated, his research team also wants to create these machines.

According to Dr. Tran Xuan Thinh, Deputy Head of Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Hospital of University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in the context of widespread epidemic, it is possible to use the automated ambu bag machine created by Dr. Vu Van Hai and his colleagues for emergency situation, especially in the process of patient transports. Moreover, this machine helps healthcare workers save energy and avoid direct patient contact.
