On March 12, 2020, Hue University promulgated the Regulation on organization and management of e-learning, which functioned as the legal frame for its all member universities, affiliated schools and Quang Tri Branch to implement the E-learning.

The learning management system and content management system are quite diverse in using Moodle, Google suite and self-management system.

In recent times, the synchronous e-learning has been implemented at Hue University. The lesson plans are scientifically formulated to ensure regulatory compliance. Lecturers and students have become familiar with this active learning method.

Apart from the initial results, there are some challenges such as unstable internet connection quality, use of free-of-charge software, lack of technical support, lack of support for training instructors with new technology…

Therefore, the member universities and affiliated school of Hue University plan to support lecturers and students to upgrade internet bandwidth, increase the number of IT staff supporting lecturers and students, create incentives for instructors to learn and use new technology, and encourage to the use of copyrighted software.
