I. Objectives

The workshop aims to propagandize historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions of Vietnam; to affirm the role of Hue University in relation to Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam National University, Hanoi towards the national, regional and international training and education; to implement the Resolution No. 54-NQ/TW of the Political Ministry in order to promote Hue University to National University. 

II. Contents

Topics in History, Culture, Politics, National Security, and Higher Education towards heritage journey and national security, which focus on the main following issues:

- Hue - Hanoi – Saigon connection in the history of Vietnam’s revolutionary struggle and national liberation.

- Regional cultural factors, cultural heritage promotion in the context of development and international integration.

- Hue - Hanoi - Saigon connection towards the national security and the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

- Promote Hue University to National University; the role of Hue University in Hanoi - Hue - Sai Gon connection towards the national, regional, and international education and training.

- Venue: Hue University Hall, 03 Le Loi, Hue City.

* Guests: Representatives of Thua Thien Hue province, Propaganda Department of Provincial Party Committee; Ho Chi Minh Museum, Museum of Revolutionary History, Military Command Committee, Police Department of Thua Thien Hue Province, Historical Science Association of Thua Thien Hue Province, Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies in Hue, and Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hue.
