Hue University enters into an agreement with Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland (26-09-2016 11:35)

In an effort to promote cooperation between Hue University and Dublin Institute of Technology – Ireland, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Toan, President of Hue University paid a working visit to Dublin Institute of Technology from 11 to 16 September 2016. The delegation headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Toan consists of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh, Deputy President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thi Tam, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism.

Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland (DIT) - the largest and most dynamic training institute in Ireland - has more than 100 years of establishment and development, is an official member of the European University Association (EUA) and the International Association of Universities (IAU). Currently, DIT has more than 2,000 faculty members and 20,000 students, of which nearly 20% are international students, majored in technology and environment, sciences and health, business, tourism and arts. DIT is the combination of academic excellence, traditional higher education and vocational education - application, developing students’ leadership, adaptation, discovery and critical thinking.

 

 

During this working visit, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding to promote cooperation in training, research and mobility of faculty and students in a number of key areas of mutual interest, including travel services and tourism, biotechnology, environment and health, food science, etc.
