The MI Council meeting was to adopt the Minutes of the 1st Council Meeting 2021 and the Action Progress of the Recommendations from the 1st Governing Board Meeting 2021. The meeting acknowledged the highlights and recommendations from the Steering Committee including Activity Report for the 2nd half of 2021, Annual Performance Review 2021, and MI Coordinating Agencies Meeting. The MI Council also endorsed the draft MI Annual Work Plan 2021, approved the revised plan for the 25th Anniversary Campaign, the proposal for Annual GMS Contributions, Vehicle Procurement & Disposal, and appointed the Sub-committee for the 2021 Annual Performance Evaluation of MI Executive Director. Speaking at the meeting, HU President Nguyen Quang Linh presented some cooperation activities which have been carried out within the framework of MI and proposed more MI’s assistance for the future activities in the new normal condition.

The meeting concluded with the recommendations and commitments of the Council members and Key Development Partners. Furthermore, the date and venue of Governing Board Meeting No. 01/2022 were confirmed among participants.
