At the meeting, the two sides discussed some contents related to the Local Capacity Development (LCD) policy and the priorities and strengths of Hue University in the development strategy for the period of 2021 - 2026.

Hue University leaders affirmed their willingness to cooperate with USAID and local authorities to implement activities related to capacity building in culture, education and training, environmental protection, and innovation; and to create favorable conditions for strengthening cooperation and capacity building activities among USAID, localities, and Hue University. Moreover, leaders of Hue University hoped that Thua Thien Hue would be a destination for international and domestic students to study Vietnamese culture. Hue University also proposed the regular capacity building implementation for leaders, staff, and lecturers of Hue University.

Based on the initial proposals, two parties would continue to exchange and promote further cooperation among related stakeholders.
