During the meeting, the President of Hue University provided information about the ongoing and previous collaborations with universities and institutes in Taiwan, such as Ming Chi University of Technology, National Chengkung University, National Chiaotung University, National Chi Nan University, National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU), National University of Kaohsiung, Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, National Taiwan Normal University… Hue University has been actively participating in the research collaboration framework of the Southeast Asian and Taiwan Universities Presidents’ Forum (SATU President’s Forum) as a member, and various faculty and student exchange programs and cooperative training initiatives between Hue University and Taiwanese universities are being implemented.

Both parties expressed their desire to further promote the establishment of the Taiwan Center for Education at Hue University to enhance cooperation in scientific research, technology transfer, and the implementation of training programs and internships for students. On this occasion, the President of Hue University accepted the invitation from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi to visit universities in Taiwan in the near future, to expand collaborative activities.
