In this visit to Vietnam, the Minister aims at promoting better understanding of Vietnam and of opportunities for cooperation in education and scientific research. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Toan, President of Hue University, has extended his warmest thanks to the Minister and his delegation for the past multi-faceted support from Austrian Government to Hue University. Both parties highly value the results of the cooperation between Hue University and IMC-Krems University, Vienne University.

The delegation has also paid a short visit to the BA class of Tourism Management and Leisure Industry. This program has been carried out on the basis of the agreement signed on 6 June, 2006 between Hue University and IMC-Krems University- Austria on the collaboration of the VATP (Vietnamese – Austrian Tourism Programme)

The visit of the Minister’s delegation obviously promotes the cooperation between two nations and other international collaborative programs.
