Opening ceremony for the second course of the Vietnamese - Austrian Tourism programme

On November 22nd 2007, The Center of Pre-doctoral Training - Hue University held the second entrance ceremony of Tourism Management and Leisure Industry. Dr. Le Thanh Son, Vice - President of Hue University; Mr. Berndt Tilp, on behalf of University of Applied Sciences ICM Krems- Austria, attended the ceremony.

After 2 years of implementation, the VATP programme have enrolled 70 students. 39 students were admitted into the second course. 30 qualified teachers from IUniversity of Applied Sciences ICM Krems and Hue University have involved. The degree programme will last 8 semesters (4 years), following the credit model. At the end of the third semester, students must have at least IELTS score of 6.0 before starting an internship. The programme of the VATP is attuned first of all to meet the future needs of the Vietnamese tourism industry.
