The delegation also had a chance to meet with the Chairman of Okayama Province and to inform him of the co-operation. On 6 March, 2007, the delegation attended a conference entitled "Rural development and environmental issues in Central Vietnam". Three presentations by Dr. Le Van An, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Duc Ngoan, Dr. Nguyen Huu Van have been made at the Conference.

On this occasion the two parties have discussed the implementation plan of the cooperative international Master training course on "Sustainability of Rural and Environmental System"; with Degrees awarded by Okayama University. In order to ensure a successful co-operation, a representative office for Okayama University in Hue will be opened soon, on 27 March 2007. The first M.A. class will come into operation in September 2007.
