On January 14th 2008, The President of Hue University signed the Decision of establishing Tourism Faculty - Hue University.

Tourism Faculty - Hue University has these basic responsibilities: - Offering undergraduate and graduate training programs on tourism. - Doing scientific research, transferring technology and international cooperation on tourism according to the decentralized administration of Hue University. The Decision becomes effective from 16 January 2008.
