Delegation of Hue University attends the first entrance ceremony of Savannakhet University of Lao People’s Democratic Republic

On October 12, 2009, the delegation of Hue University leading by Dr. Le Thanh Son _the Vice-President of Hue University, attends the 1st entrance ceremony of Savannakhet University. Dr. Tran Manh Dat, Vice-Rector of Hue University Branch at Quang Tri Province and Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Vice-Head of Administrative Office of Hue University also joined the delegation.
On this first entrance ceremony, the university has a great honor of receiving the attendance of Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh and Minister of Education of Lao People's Democratic Republic _ Prof. Dr. Somkot Mangnomex. Savannakhet has just been established and it is one of the 4 universities of the country. At present, the university has a staff of 65 lecturers with 3 Doctors, 15 Masters. In academic year 2009-2010, there are 8 majors with approximately 400 students.
