The purpose of the visit is signing the cooperation agreement on exchanging staffs and lecturers, exchanging documents related to cooperative curriculum, syllabus and researches. At the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Le Manh Thanh, Vice President of Hue University and Prof. Naotaka Oki, Rector Shizuoka University  appreciated the spirit of understanding and the articles of cooperation and expressed the determination to fulfill the content of the agreement.

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Le Manh Thanh paid a visit to Mr. Zenkichi Kojima, Mayor of Shizuoka city. Mr. Zenkichi Kojima strongly appreciated and advocated the cooperation between the two universities in order to enhance the cooperation between the two cities, Hue city and Shizuoka city.
