At the meeting, both sides informed each other about the overall situation of education and training, and discussed on setting up cooperation.

Besides many thanks to Australian Government for facilitating Vietnamese students as well as Hue students during their study in Australia, Assoc. Prof. Le Manh Thanh hoped to receive more support and attention from Minister Jack Snelling for students from the Central of Vietnam, especially from Hue University in scholarship allocation.  

Minister Jack Snelling appreciated Hue University's educational quality and hoped to develop cooperation between South Australia and Hue University in such fields of the same interest as agriculture and tourism management which are strong points of Adelaide University - one of the top universities in Australia. The idea of setting up an English language center was also taken into consideration by both sides.

After the meeting, the delegation headed by Minister Jack Snelling paid a visit to Hue University Learning Resource Center.
