At the meeting, the two sides focused on the matters mentioned in the MOU, such as teaching staff and graduate students exchange, joint research, and materials, information and publications exchange. To develop human resources for a planned network for infectious diseases prevention in Asia, Tokyo Metropolitan University will grant 4 PhD scholarships in Medicine and Biotechnology. Tokyo Metropolitan University will also invite young lecturers of Hue University to Tokyo for further study. Besides, Tokyo Metropolitan University will cooperate with and support funds and equipment for relevant labs of Hue University to improve their research facilities.
