Minh Duc Charitable Foundation awards scholarships to Hue University’s students

On 13.9.2010, Minh Duc Charitable Foundation headed by Monk Thich Giai Hien awards 100 scholarships to Hue University's students, each valued VND 1,500,000. Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Toan, Hue University President, attended the event.
Founded in 2003, Minh Duc Charitable Foundation, financed by domestic and overseas volunteers, has performed hundreds of pro-poor activities, including house building, scholarship granting, health examining and drugs giving.
The Foundation also gave 30 scholarships of VND 45,000,000 in total to Hue University's students in 2009.
