Visiting universities in the Republic of Austria: Hue University to promote and develop international cooperation in training and research (15-11-2010 13:55)

 Upon invitations of Austria's universities, Hue University's delegation headed by President Nguyen Van Toan visited IMC University of Applied Sciences and Vienna University of Technology. The delegation included Directors of Office for Postgraduate Training and Office for International Cooperation, and senior officers of Project 165, Organization Department of Central Party Committee. The visit aimed to seek agreement and promote bilateral cooperation.

 
At Krems University of Applied Sciences, a cooperative agreement was signed for the Master's Program in Tourism Development and Management which is expected to open in March, 2011 at Hue University.
 
 

On October 23, 2010, the delegation had a meeting with Vienna University of Technology in the presence of its Vice Rector. Two Universities discussed current cooperation programs and future possibilities and opportunities, especially a joint doctoral program in computer science and Vienna University of Technology corresponding support.

The successful visit to the above partners in the Republic of Austria opens up a wide and deep cooperative future and sets the first step for Hue University to actively participate in training and research activities under bilateral and multilateral cooperation with other parties in ASEA-UNINET.
