Regional Conference for Rectors of member universities of the “University Agency of the French-speaking world†(AUF) in Asia Pacific to open

On November 16, 2010, Assoc. Prof. Le Manh Thanh, Hue University Vice President had a meeting with Mr. Olivier Garro, Director of AUF Office in Hanoi to discuss preparations for the Regional Conference for Rectors of AUF university members in Asia Pacific to be held on December 3, 2010. The conference will be an occasion for nearly 100 rectors of AUF member universities to discuss effective university management. As member of AUF, Hue University has set up cooperation and received much support from AUF in academic activities. Specifically, since 2001, AUF has provided funds for Hue University to offer undergrad programs in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, law, medicine, business and tourism management. Besides, AUF has cohosted specialized seminars with Hue University, supported the joint Master's program in Educational Technology and Employment System between it and University of Rennes 1.
