The 2006-2009 MA course was the third one in TESOL organized by College of Foreign Languages. The 3-year part-time MA course was divided into 6 semesters, including the first 4 semesters for teaching subjects and the last 2 for graduation thesis.

In additional to lecturers of Hue University, the 2006 course invited 05 visiting lecturers from University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi; University of Foreign Language, Vietnam national University, Hanoi; University of Foreign Trade, Hanoi and 02 volunteer foreign teachers. Those subjects instructed by visiting lecturers were Contrastive linguistics, Functional linguistics, Theory of Translation, Cognitive Semantics, Writing Academic English, Communication and Culture, Testing and Assessment.

31 postgraduate students have fulfilled 69 credits of 19 subjects.  Their graduation thesis's marks ranked from 8.6 to 9.9. Two of them were qualified for Doctoral program.

College of Foreign Languages also rewarded 4 students for their outstanding learning results.
