Những đóng góp mới của luận án:

• Đánh giá được các mức độ thích hợp về các nhân tố sinh thái cho 6 loài thực vật ngập mặn: Mắm quắn, Đước vòi, Trang, Bần chua, Vẹt dù và Sú ở vùng ven biển tỉnh Nghệ An.
• Đề xuất được định hướng không gian phát triển rừng ngập mặn trên cơ sở kết quả đánh giá các mức độ thích hợp về các nhân tố sinh thái cho các loài thực vật ngập mặn nói trên, ở vùng ven biển tỉnh Nghệ An.

The new contributions:

• The current status of mangroves and the characteristics of mangroves in the

coastal area of Nghe An province have been fully investigated and statistics for the first time.

The appropriate levels of ecological factors were assessed for 6 species of mangrove plants: Avicennia marina, Phizophora apiculate, Kandelia candel, Sonneratia caseolaris, Bruguiera gymnorhiza, Aegiceras corniculatum. in the coastal area of Nghe An province for the first time.

• The spatial orientation of mangroves development is proposed based on the results of the assessment of the appropriate levels of ecological factors for the mentioned mangrove plant species in the coastal area of Nghe An province for the first time.
